The beautiful Danielle Walker, from Against All Grain, has a new cookbook and let me just tell you, it’s FABULOUS!! Celebrations is filled with recipes for every holiday and special event throughout the year. From New Years Eve, to bridal showers, to Halloween, to birthdays, to Christmas. It’s all there and I promise you, you will want to make every single recipe.
As part of the Celebrations launch team, I was able to get a sneak peak of the cookbook before it hits the shelves on September 27. I have gone through the cookbook countless times already and I just continue to drool over the goodness. All of the recipes are gluten free, grain free, dairy free and paleo friendly. A little something for everyone and for every special occasion!
Here are a few of the recipes I’ve tried so far and have of course LOVED. I am so excited for you to get a copy of Celebrations so you can give them a try too!
These gingersnap cookies are just the perfect texture! Crispy, chewy and yes, the have that “snap.” They are also grain, gluten, dairy and egg free. The original recipe calls for cashew flour, but Danielle notes that almond flour can be used {which is what I used}. Great ginger flavor and just an all around delicious cookie.
To go with my gingersnaps, I also made Danielle’s dairy free pumpkin spice latte. Oh my heavens! So creamy. So dreamy. I actually can never get the PSL because it has dairy in the syrup they use, but it’s full of unnecessary ingredients. This, my friends, is not. It’s got the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. You can also make just the creamer and store it in the fridge to add to your morning coffee. I’m officially addicted.
You guys. These marshmallows are little pillows of honey-sweetened goodness. Don’t be intimidated by homemade marshmallows. They take a bit of time to make, but they really are easy. They are perfect for roasting or topping off a cup of hot cocoa. Paleo marshmallows that are so light and fluffy!
With the holidays coming, this is the perfect time to preorder the new Against All Grain Celebrations Cookbook. You can do so by clicking here. It really is a beautifully made book. It’s also hardcover and lays flat on the counter. Thank you, Danielle, for all of your hard work! This cookbook will be loved by many, as we use your recipes to create delicious memories for our family and friends.
