Christmas is coming! It’s the time of year when we start putting together our Christmas lists, decorating, and of course…baking! I love to plan ahead for what I will bake for my family and friends. Sometimes I go with candy, sometimes I go with cinnamon swirl bread. This year I might have to mix it up a bit. Cookies maybe? Or one of my faves…homemade caramel corn!
It’s all about the presentation when giving treats as gifts. Yes, taste is important, but the cuteness factor is totally important too! I like to use things I already have in my craft or baking supplies. Twine and ribbon are my go-to’s when wrapping my baked gluten free goodies. Just remember to keep it simple and make it personal. Today on Ask Anna I’m sharing the recipe for these gluten free vegan soft molasses cookies. Don’t they look even more delicious wrapped up in a cute Christmas jar? So after you take a look at my cookie packaging ideas, head on over to Ask Anna for this recipe, a holiday favorite!
Mason jars. One of my favorite ways to package treats!
I always have a dozen of these jam-size jars on hand.
I baked the cookies on the smaller side so they would stack nicely in the jar.
I placed a cupcake liner over the lid, screwed the ring on, and tied on a piece of twine.
Inexpensive, yet adorable!
Place a single cookie in the bag and tie on a personalized tag with bakers twine.
Sometimes simple is better.
You can find them in the dollar section at Target or at the Dollar Tree.
Just fill the bag with cookies and tie with a sparkly ribbon.
Bring on the glitter!
