Every morning should start with waffles. At least that’s that I think. A stack of ginormous, hot waffles, covered in fresh berries and a drizzle of pure maple syrup. Right along side my morning cup of coffee. Sounds like pure bliss!
I’ve recently partnered with Orgain to do a little recipe creation for them. Their products are amazing by the way! Have you given them a try? I have been using their organic protein powder for over a year now and it is by far my fave. Plant based, gluten free, dairy free and the creamiest texture I have found. No grittiness. Great on it’s own or added to your morning smoothie. Fabulous flavor and 21 grams of plant based protein!
One of their newest products in their Organic Slim Powder. It has 20 grams of plant based protein and whole food metabolism booosters including matcha tea, green tea, moringa and cinnamon. Both the vanilla and chocolate flavors are delicious. The chocolate is perfect in a smoothie with frozen banana, peanut butter and almond milk. So good! The vanilla is my new go-to for adding to muffins, pancakes and waffles.
Orgain also has a new Organic Protein Almond Milk. It has 10 grams of organic protein per serving, along with plant based calcium and vitamin D. Creamy, smooth and a great addition to your cereal or smoothies. I’ve also been baking with it too. Love adding that extra protein wherever I can!
I’m so excited to share this new vanilla almond protein waffle recipe with all of you! Filled with protein from both the Orgain Organic Slim Protein Powder and Protein Almond Milk. The recipe also has a bit of almond flour. Crispy on the outside, tender and soft on the inside. The sweetness comes from the vanilla protein powder. So yummy! I served these waffles with a drizzle of almond butter and a sprinkling of sliced almonds. Sliced bananas or fresh strawberries would be lovely too. The waffle toppings are endless!
