Made with pure maple syrup, coconut oil and spices, this smokey maple popcorn is totally addicting!
The Super Bowl is coming up next week and we always invite friends over to watch the big game. I’m not even sure who’s playing, but I do know that when it comes to the Super Bowl, it’s all about the snacks. Chips, dips, sweets and fun drinks. Guacamole is a must. Chips and salsa. Veggies and hummus. Gooey chocolate chip cookies. Gotta have the fridge stocked with hard cider too.
One of my favorite snack foods is popcorn. It’s salty, crunchy and not too filling. I like just about any type of popcorn. Kettle corn, caramel corn, spicy popcorn. All so tasty. It’s also one of the cheapest snacks to make and you can make a ton of it to feed a crowd!
My smokey maple popcorn has a glaze that’s made up of coconut oil, maple syrup and some spices. Chili powder, smoked paprika and cayenne pepper for a little kick. An extra dose of sea salt gets added at the end, to your liking. I love salt so I always add more.
